The Kerala State Women's Development Corporation (KSWDC) is tasked with implementing programmes to empower women socially, economically and educationally, so that they are equipped to play a major role in the development process. The Kerala State Co-operatives Consumers' Federation Ltd (Consumerfed) is the apex body of the consumer co-operatives in the state.
